About the Author

DR. CARL REINHOLD AUGUSTSSON

Dr. Carl Reinhold Augustsson is a professor, a writer, and a world traveler. Born in the United States in 1977 to an American mother and Swedish father, Carl holds citizenship in the US, Sweden, and Georgia—giving him close ties to the European Union. He has lived in all three of his home countries, as well as five others, and traveled to 113 countries across six continents, including every country in Europe.

His greatest passions are travel, academics, and languages. Carl has earned four Master’s Degrees and a PhD in International Studies, Political Science, and English Philology. He has taught subjects ranging from English and History to Political Science, at educational levels from junior high to Master’s programs.
